Hi Peeps !!! This is Boopathy.             We might have come across many stories and sayings that "cop's son turned criminal". A best example for that is Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar . He was born as a son of head constable in Mumbai police in Ratnagiri district of Maharastra. Then, he was raised in Doongri, there he joined Ahmed Sailor High School . But, he was dropped out of the school as his father could not afford his education.            After that he joined a gang of boys who have been residing in his area and got into hooliganism . When he was 19 years old, he joined with a mobster called Haji Mastan . Later, he got rid of him and formed his own gang along with is brother, Shabir Ibrahim Kaskar . That gang was popularly called as 'D - company' or Dawood Company  in 1970s. This is Boopathy.                        In 1971, Indian and Pakistani armies clashed on the eastern and western fronts, the war came to end, after Eastern Command of Pakistani military signed the instrument of surrender. This made East Pakistan into a new nation called Bangladesh. For this, the then PM Indra Gandhi gave her full support and she gained the reputation for liberation and formation of new nation. It pushed her high to attain victory in the 1972 Lok Sabha elections.             But on the other side, it caused major defects in the country. Over eight million refugees from East Pakistan entered India during the Liberation war and put a heavy strain to our overburdened economy. One Nation, One Law : Uniform Civil Code

Hi Peeps!!! This is Boopathy.             Our India is a diverse country with various religions and ethnicity living within its borders. Being a secular country, the laws should be equal for all citizens irrespective of religion, caste or gender.             A Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is a single law, applicable to all citizens of India in their personal matters such as inheritance, marriage, divorce, adoption and custody. It aims to provide a common law, by replacing the fragmented personal laws of different religion.             It is defined in Part-IV of Indian Constitution as Directive Principles of State Policy under Article-44 , " The state shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India".             Article-37 of Indian Constitution briefs that the DPSP is not enforceable by court. Clearing the Clutter: India's States and Union Territories

From the formation of Andhra Pradesh as the first State of India in 1956 on a linguistic basis through the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution which led to the creation of 2 new Union Territories of J&K and Ladhak to the unification of the UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadar & Nagar haveli, we might haven't been watching them so closely and are not sure about their numbers. Quite confusing, right! This is to clear the clutter on it.  Here are some interesting facts about Indian states and Union Territories with their capitals.  India, a union of states, is a sovereign, secular, democratic, republic with a parliamentary system of government. The President is the constitutional head of Executive of the Union. In the states, the Governor, as the representative of the President, is the head of Executive.
